ERC 2012 kisäjärjestäjän tänään 19.7. laittama tiedote:

Due to the recent incident of terrorist blast at Burgas Airport on 18.07.2012, the security control at all international airports in Bulgaria has been severely increased. That may include applying some extra and additional checks of your identity, documents, and luggage.
Potentially some of you who are carrying your sport weapons may be also additionally examined to verify the purpose of your visit. This unpleasant situation may also cause certain delays for your passport and border control.
We are trying to do our best and to cooperate with the competent authorities in order to mitigate your arrival at the ERC 2012 with weapons and ammo. However please note, that all current security measures must be followed in a firm and strict manner.
Having in mind the altered internal organization and procedures at the airports in Sofia, Varna, and Burgas, please check in advance if your flight has not been rescheduled, cancelled or re-directed to another airport. Please also note that the current security measures set up a limited access to any outside perimeters around the airports and parking facilities, which additionally hinders all visitors and may jeopardize all meeting arrangements.

Update from 19.7.2012 18.00h: the airports in Sofia, Varna and Burgas are now back to normal operation. There are no any major changes in the fligh schedule or cancelled flights. However increased security measures remain in place until further notice.
