Clubs or communities near porvoo?

Dear all,
I have already been living in Finland for a couple months and I’ve been starting working on my fire arm permits. I visit shooting ranges time to time and keep on shooting diary. Everything is fine, and some day the instructor chatted with me and said that it would be better if I join a local shooting club or community from where I live, which is porvoo, I will have better chances when getting the permits, as well as more chances to communicate about information on shooting, joining events and etc.. So are there any shooting clubs in porvoo or near porvoo? Though I have lived here for a while but I have no idea where to find them, even locals here i know knows few about shooting sport. Thank you in advance.

For IPSC, there's a few clubs in the Helsinki - Vantaa - Espoo area. I think the club in Porvoo isn't ideal.

Well the idea is about local shooting ranges, then I suppose as long as it’s about shooting guns will do. I checked this BSPA thing in porvoo on their page but it seems to me that’s an air gun club, so probably not really about live fire arms. But the ipsc range is a good idea I’ll definitely check it out, thanks.

For SRA you need to belong to an association that is a member of The Finnish Reservists’ Association. In Porvoo there seems to be Porvoon Reserviläiset Ry.

Well yeah i actually doubt that too, However when i asked the shooting range instructor at osuva range, he made it clear that even a foreigner can participate in sra competitions. However, i didn't ask about actually joining the sra association. But anyways, that's not the point. It doesn't have to be sra association, I'm just wondering if i have some shooting clubs nearby that i can join.

Looks like they have all different ranges in one pretty big range area.

The web page also says that they have no scheduled training sessions or training courses. Presumably, they don't rent guns either.
To shoot IPSC in Finland, you have to pass a training course that ensures you have a clue about safety, and can hit targets. Other clubs and (I think) some commercial ranges can do the "safe shooter" training course for you.

SSG does not offer IPSC shooting for "everyone". At first you have to be a member of SSG OR you have to know personally someone who is member of SSG to shoot and practice IPSC dicipline. And to shoot IPSC "as normal" you have to have "IPSC safe shooter" license at first OR there has to be a trained/professional instructor who guides and watches all the time behind your back while shooting without "IPSC safe shooter" license. SSG does not have this available according to my knowledge.

I'm an ok level hand gun production shooter, normally train at Vantaa Ruutisavu & Espoo Omega shooting center. We may do some basic training together sometimes at the range if the schedule fits. Or at least give you some general information about what you should do to be an IPSC shooter.

Rarely see Chinese would like to join the practical shooting sport. Welcome on board.
